Supported Audio/Video Hardware

Drastic supports a wide variety of audio and video hardware for products such as NetXScope/HDRScope/4KScope/sdiScope, videoQC, FlowCaster, and Net-X-Code Server. We have tested extensively on AJA hardware, and also support Bluefish444 and Blackmagic adapters for audio/video I/O, and AMD or NVIDIA for video processing. Recommended Hardware Environment

In general a faster, more powerful system will be necessary to run high throughput workflows. The main considerations will be the GPU and the processor. Here are some recommendations.

HD 1080p60 - A recent Intel, AMD or NVIDIA with at least 1G memory card is fine for the GPU - A recent Quad Core i5/i7/AMD processor with at least 8G of ram 4K/QHD - A gaming level NVIDIA or AMD (NVIDIA 1080 or better/AMD Vega 2 or better) - Minimum 8 cores [16 virtual] Intel/AMD, recommended 8~12 cores with at least 8G ram Net-X-Code Server - We recommend a powerful, capable system for any testing or implementation of Net-X-Code Server. The following systems have been qualified for various high throughput workflows, including 4 channel and 8 channel I/O: Dell R6525 Dell R6615 HPE ProLiant DL325

ST-2110 Software Support

NetXScope supports ST-2110 for signal analysis.

Net-X-Code Server supports ST-2110 for ingest and output.

videoQC can receive ST-2110 streams for viewing.

FlowCaster can use ST-2110 streams as a source, and as an output type.

SDI/HDMI Support

For the fullest range of features, a powerful, fast system will be required, along with a supported capture board. AJA, Bluefish444, Blackmagic, and DekTec boards are industry proven solutions for a wide range of ingest and output workflows. Check each board's specifications  with the manufacturer to confirm whether your workflow is supported. The manufacturer will also have good recommendations on the hardware environment required.

Net-X-Code Server, DrasticScope, FlowCaster, Test Pattern Generator, and videoQC can use a variety of hardware boards and/or devices. DekTec boards are only supported in version 8 software products.
