MediaReactor Server
Scalable File Transcoding Solution
MediaReactor Server is a powerful tool for transcoding digital media files, with a wide range of file format support and features to enhance your workflow. For user directed transcoding activities a straightforward interface provides all the source and target parameters for immediate transcode. Project files maintain settings for recurring transcoding jobs. Multiple transcodes may be set and will run in sequence. The transcode list is dynamic and time sensitive jobs may be promoted in the list for quicker access to the newly transcoded files.
Filters applied during the transcode let you create separate audio or video files, apply processing for interleave, blend, field order and more.
MediaReactor Workstation Features
MediaReactor Server also includes all the features of MediaReactor Workstation, and will run as a plugin to enable many formats to be used within the user's existing/preferred creative tools. Within Assimilate Scratch and Scratch Lab, Adobe Premiere, After Effects and Media Composer, Avid Media Composer, Apple Final Cut Pro, Motion and Compressor, Microsoft Media Player and Direct Show, QuickTime Player and Apps, and DrasticPreview, files will load and be available for use within these applications in real time, supported by MediaReactor's plugin architecture.
The MediaReactor Lite interface provides a streamlined GUI for user directed single transcodes. The user may select a source file, set up the type of file to be created and press the Convert button. Once a target file type has been created the project file can be saved to use for further similar transcodes.
MediaReactor Server also provides a watch folder transcoding setup, where a user specifies a folder and incoming files are transcoded as they arrive.
OEM and Branded Transcodes
MediaReactor Server also includes the SDK so you can build MediaReactor file transcoding into your application. The SDK is provided with no support, but if required a support package can be offered tailored to your development needs.
