MediaNXS, QuickClipXO, VTRIF, dTouch, and DTReplayLIVE each have their own set of configuration controls and displays. The user will be able to adjust and confirm settings without closing these applications. There may be slight differences between the exact controls offered within each application though they will each provide a basic setup for categories like video and audio type.
Also the applications DDRConfig (and in specific installs the Drastic Setup Wizard) may be used to view and adjust many of the configuration settings.
DDR Configuration Interfaces
In UI Setup
The user will be able to set many of the important parameters of operation (such as video type, record drive etc.) without closing the user interface. The set of controls offered for configuration settings within MediaNXS, QuickClipXO, VTRIF, dTouch and DTReplayLIVE provides for the most commonly used parameters. There are other more extensive configuration setup interfaces such as DDRConfig (below) which provide access to the full range of possible settings.
Offline configuration of DDR XML configuration file. Basic setup features plus advanced tree view of XML files. Four tabs are provided, with various settings revealed on each tab. Parameters are saved into the project file.
The Drastic Setup Wizard
Offline configuration of DDR - runs upon startup (may also be run at any time). Basic setup features. The user clicks and points through a series of screens to confirm or adjust various settings. Parameters are saved into the project file.
Windows Proxy Config
Offline configuration for real time proxy creation - opens via the startup menu, in the application's config folder. Allows the user to set specific parameters for proxy creation. Proxy settings are used each time auto proxy is run.
Offline configuration for specific metadata elements - opens via the startup menu, in the application's config folder. Allows the user to set a wide variety of metadata elements, which are applied to files captured within DDR software.
